Bonnie Cotier

With great sorrow, we learned from her husband Steve Hubin that 1976 alumna Bonnie Cotier died on March 23, 2011, in a cave diving accident near Abergavenny, Wales, UK.  Steve wrote:

Bonnie's Hawthorne experience was very good for her - when we spoke of education, it was always Hawthorne that she spoke of, rarely did she speak about university.  She was so thrilled to have gotten together with her friends at Eleanor's service in 2008.  She was so impressed by the impact that Eleanor had made on all her friends.

Memorial Service May 6 near Cambridge, England

Steve has invited any alumni in the U.K. to a memorial service there:

I do not know how many other Hawthorne grads are in England.  If there are, I have arranged a memorial service for Bonnie on Friday, 6 May, at 3pm, at St. Mary’s Eaton Socon, St Neots

The church is located at:

Great North Road
Eaton Socon, St Neots
PE19 8EJ
(01480) 352154

To find the church and using SatNav use the postcode PE19 8EQ.

All are welcome.  And please let everyone who has been touched by Bonnie know.  We will have a reception following at the Rivermill Tavern.

The town of St. Neots is located less than 20 miles west of Cambridge and about 40 miles north of London.  For a Google map, see the St Mary's web site.

Memorial service May 15 in Washington, D.C.

There will be a memorial service for Bonnie Cotier on May 15th, at 2 pm at Metropolitan Memorial United Methodist Church at 3401 Nebraska Avenue NW, Washington, DC.

Please join us in remembering Bonnie and celebrating her life.

I am still in shock, as are many others, and I hope you will join me in remembering her.

Steve
